Adya founded Tula in 2008 with the idea that he could apply his background in innovative advanced signal processing to engine and powertrain controls to create an optimized combustion engine that could operate at peak efficiency for any given level of requested torque.
As Tula’s Chief Technology Officer, Adya is responsible for exploring advanced signal processing and optimization techniques for next generation automotive controls.
Tula is Adya’s third successful start-up. Prior to Tula, he founded Tripath Technology, Inc., a public company that reached a valuation of more than $1 billion. As an innovator of digital amplification technology, Tripath filed more than 100 U.S. patents, many of which were authored by Adya. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, he held various technical and management positions with IBM, Hewlett Packard and National Semiconductor.
