Philippe Farah

Philippe joined Tula in 2021 bringing his management and technical expertise in the Mechatronics area. Prior to joining Tula, he held several management and technical leadership roles, as VP of Mechatronics R&D at Marelli, where he led a global team responsible for electric motors and power electronics development. His experience also includes: Delphi Technologies – Global Chief Engineer of Electrified Systems; Valeo Electric Systems – Engineering Director of Electromagnetic Motor Design. He also served as Technical Director of Electric Motors and Power Electronics for Great Wall Motors, Baoding, China, where he managed engineers developing motors and inverters for new energy vehicles. He also worked in Polestar as VP Engineering for Electric Propulsion Systems, developing the next generation high performance drivetrains for Polestar vehicles. He rejoined Tula Technology while creating his own startup YEESMA to develop sustainable high efficiency electric drives and motors. He has authored more than 30 papers and 25 granted patents.
